Handling

Hazardous waste is sorted into specific types and treated accordingly. Many thermal and physical-chemical technologies are used to convert the waste into harmless subtances. Negative environmental effects are prevented by modern treatment processes.

Recycling and recovery

Energy from the thermal treatment is recovered and converted into electricity and district heat. In addition to safe final treatment also recovery of energy and materials is targeted.
